Happy Pongal

Can anyone just tell me what it takes to Get up at 6 in the morning???coz..On a daily basis I make a promise to myself saying "Today is the last day Iam getting up late and from tomorrow 6 am sharp is the wakeup time".Asusual I woke up Today at 9:20 am and Thank God realised early that today is The Festival(Bhogi..)and managed to take a head bath so that when I call up my mother Iwon't get any scoldings(atleast on a festival it's a No-No) and then walked into class at 10:00.In INDIA festivals have been real source of enjoyment where we enjoy the entire day with our relatives and friends..This is one of the things which I miss here..It's just another day devoid of anything special except that it is the last working day of the week and this is a long weekend.Also missing are the sweets which are specially made on festival days. who can forget those days when we used to compete so as to make eachone's "Bhogimanta" as big as possible. These are only some of the many things of fun which we had on festival days.After the class I went to the Seminar by a technical expert of FORD Company who lectured on Port Fuel Injection.In the seminar I was thinking of the dishes which mom used to prepare for "pandaga roju" Naturally, these thoughts made my mouth watery but soon I was pinched by the reality tat if u want to enjoy the "Pandaga vantalu" the first and basic thing is that you have to do them(By urself of course...which anyway cannot happen because the only things I can make are pappu and annam(I can make some very good rice.. in Rice cooker ofcourse..)) So decided to call my home and ask mummy about how to prepare some sweets which was stopped by my friend..because he cared about the well being of my room mates.(heard of the dialogue.."VANTATHO CHAMPESTHA..." adhi naadhe!!) . So emi chestham maa roomies ki sweets thine praptham ledhu ani saripettukonna..ThenI came to my lab and while I was checking my sentmail..I found this joke in my sent mail(Endhuku check chesanu abba...endhukante.........sorry Naaku theliyadhu..)....Kopam gaa vundha ..kottalini vundha..antha voddhule kaani ee joke chadhavandi amma.
A friend of mine kindly pointed out to me that this is a joke from sherlock holmes' plays....so friends please don't mind...sometimes ctrl+c happens.....

A MBA and an Engineer go on a camping trip, set up their tent, and fell asleep. Some time later, the Engineer wakes his MBA friend.

"Look up at the sky and tell me what you see

The MBA replies, "I see millions of stars."

The Engineer asks "What does that tell you?"

The MBA ponders for a minute:

"Astronomically speaking, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.

Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo. Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three.

Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant.

Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.

What does it tell you?"

The Engineer friend is silent for a moment, and then speaks.

"Practically...Someone has stolen our tent".
