IS INDIA SAFE

GANDHIJI once said real freedom comes when women can walk at midnight without any scares,for a moment forget the fairer sex and ask the question "are men able to walk freely in INDIA without a terrorist scare?".I pray and hope the answer to be YES but sadly (as always) the answer is NO.Now comes the reason WHY? pat comes the answer, if INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE can be targeted by terrorists then is there any reason to feel safe in any other place?No.Atleast now the INDIAN govt. should realise that it is high time the world condemn pakistan as a terrorist nation and should stop helping it in all means.Hope steps are taken not to repeat this incident? I donot have the required experience to tell how the government should act in such situations.But one thing is sure"The people should not lose faith in the system".
Happy that Saurav has comeback,what makes it more sweeter is the fact that it was SACHIN who paved the way for selection of Saurav by talking to Sharad pawar.Hope Saurav bats well and puts MORE and co to shame.I know it is tough but i adhere to the saying"When the going gets tough the tough get going".I believe Saurav is tough.
Newyear is round the corner and hope this newyear usheres a great time for my country INDIA and also team INDIA.I wish "HAPPY NEW YEAR" to all people (especially SAIKORIANS,SUMA,karthik,pradeep,praveenetc...).HOPe u have a great time ahead.I need to make a resolution for this year, but alas the resolutions never materialised atleast this time they should materialise.

"SAURAV" Can't we give the devil it's due

what is going on indian cricket is not for good, becuause a man of ganguly's stature should be given a better treatment. for his sheer intentions to meet fire with fire we should acknowledge his talent. he wore his heart on his shirt and removed it to wave when needed . I think he is the one who teached INDIA to fight even when u r down.i mean how can people forget his monumental achievement of drawing the series in AUSTRALIA.But for parthiv patel and steve bucknor we would have won the series and that wiould rate as one of the best moments in INDIAN cricket.It was he who nurtured many youngsters in their formative years a luxury which he couldn't enjoy when he toured AUSTRALIA in 1992.yes he is rude sometimes but noone is perfect in this world.He is the one who takes his pride in the job he is doing.He marshalled his resources beautifully to win some epic battles.Let's see this from another standpoint, ganguly's form did it require a foreign coach to say that the captain is not good? if the selectors felt that before they should have told ganguly what they expected of him.it's totally unfair and it's politics.even a street spinner can get yuvraj out at the starting of his innings.and to say that he is a better than ganguly is just a joke and does not go well with anyone who is logical.As per KIRAN MORE we are lookinhg for people who can win us world cup.the why the hell should yuvraj play test matches? ask him become a specialist oneday batsman and bring in some techinically sound batsman to the game.as mohinder amarnath said these selectors are a bunch of jokers who think they are just playing with a pack of cards.Remember that the same selectors choose dinesh mongia ahead of VVS LAXMAN for 2003 world cup which did not send right signals.Alas a player of VVS LAXMAN's calibre should sit infront a TV set to see the match.GOD DAMN these selectors ...they should be reproached for their behaviour .Guess what Dravid may be the person who is enjoying all luxuries now. what if dalmiya comes to power next time then the same treatment will be meted out to dravid which is unreasonable but you will always get back what you give. this trend which the selectors havre set is not a good precedent. why the hell was ganguly brought back for the second test match if they felt that he didn't have a place in the team? aren't the selectors answerable to the public? i strongly opine that ganguly should be taken back into the team.last but not the least "COMMON SENSE SHOULD PREVAIL"

today is one of my happiest days in my life because sachin has scored his 35th century. he showed that he can come back . i always believe he is one person whom u cannot write off.what can i say about sachin? somethings cannot be described in words so is sachin's batting.the happiness i get seeing him bat is one of my best moments. i followed him since my child hood and was always left wondering about his commitment.hope to see u score many more centuries. this is my first entryinto my blog.i named it elegant yellow because golden eagle was not available as a name.i think only saikorians know what iam talking about.hats off to all saikorians , where ever you are.iam and will always be proud to be a saikorian. for the starters saikorians are people who studied in sainik school,korukonda.iam a kind of new at this posting messages on web.forgive me for any errors.i will come back after my exams on 13.come on sachin hope u go on and make a double century.
